Auger Processes in Carbon Ions

Abstract

A time-dependent close-coupling method is used to calculate the double autoionization of C+3 2s2 2p. Initial states are obtained by relaxation in imaginary time, while autoionization rates are obtained by propagation in real time. Preliminary time-dependent close-coupling results are presented for the triple autoionization of C+2 2s2 2p2.
