Radio-frequency spectroscopy of pair formation in quasi-two-dimensional strongly interacting Fermi gas

Abstract
We performed radio-frequency spectroscopy of a strongly interacting degenerate quasi-2D Fermi gas of Li-6 atoms trapped in a CO2 laser standing wave trap. Confinement-induced dimer formation above the 3D Feshbach resonance was investigated by comparison with the spectrum obtained in a 3D system.
