Multichannel quantum-defect theory of magnetic Feshbach resonances in heteroneuclear alkali-metal systems

Abstract

We present a multichannel quantum-defect theory for the magnetic Feshbach resonances in the interaction of two heteroneuclear alkali-metal atoms. The emphasis will be on resonances in nonzero partial waves, and their parametrization that has only recently been developed\footnote{B. Gao, Phys. Rev. A \textbf {80}, 012702 (2009).}. The theory will be illustrated with sample results for selected alkali-metal systems that include LiK.
