Electron capture cross section for Li$^+$ on H and H$_2$: Experiment and theory

POSTER

Abstract

We present a theoretical and experimental study of the electron capture cross section for Li$^+$ in the range from 0.1 to 25 keV/amu colliding on atomic and molecular hydrogen. We report the total and differential in the angle cross section for the channel Li$^+\to$ Li and compare with available experimental and theoretical data found in the literature. The theoretical study is based on the application of a non-adiabatic electron-nuclear dynamics approach.
