Characterization of Femtosecond UV Pulses using an Autocorrelator.

Abstract

The characterization of ultrafast laser pulses is essential for determining the scope and capability of ultrafast experiments. Using an autocorrelator and subsequent data analysis techniques, we developed a robust and wavelength-independent measurement of both pulse duration and chirp for sub-100 fs UV pulses.
