Supersymmetry Simulation in the Large Hadron Collider

ORAL

Abstract

Our group is investigating possible tests of supersymmetry at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. More specifically, we are studying supersymmetry with electromagnetic events at the Compact Muon Solenoid. We are using supersymmetry with gauge-mediated symmetry breaking (GMSB). Our analysis is focused on Monte Carlo simulation of such events in order to prescribe ``observables'' for when the LHC becomes operational later this year. We will present some of our preliminary results as well as some exciting prospects for our future work.
